What we do
We specialise in flat roofs — liquid waterproofing above all else, with single-ply membranes used only where they're genuinely the better fit. We also restore cupolas and rooflights, and keep on top of the general roofing and high-level maintenance Edinburgh's tenements need throughout the year.

Liquid systems are where the majority of our flat roofing work is focused. Cold-applied and seamless, they form a single unbroken membrane that copes well with Edinburgh's changeable weather and the awkward details older buildings often have — parapets, outlets, roof lanterns and cupola surrounds.
We're approved installers of BBA & ETA certified systems, and every installation is eligible for a manufacturer-backed guarantee. Single-ply membranes have their place too — we'll suggest one on the small number of roofs where it's genuinely the better fit, rather than the default.
Electronic Leak Detection
Rather than guess where a leak is coming from, we test electronically and pinpoint the fault precisely — often avoiding the cost and disruption of stripping back a roof unnecessarily.

Restoration
Cupola & Rooflight Restoration
Many Edinburgh townhouses and tenements have original cupolas that have clouded over the years, cutting down the light they were built to let in. We restore or replace them, and can integrate the surrounding waterproofing seamlessly around the new glazing while we're up there.
It's a natural pairing with our flat roofing work — if a roof's being resurfaced, it's often the right time to deal with a tired cupola at the same time.

General Roofing & High-Level Maintenance
Flat roofs are where we focus, but we haven't stepped away from general roofing. Slate and tile repairs, lead flashing, and the high-level gutter clearing Edinburgh's tenements need most going into autumn, plus repairs through the winter months.
Our own access equipment reaches up to four storeys, so most of this work doesn't need external scaffolding brought in — which tends to mean less disruption and a quicker turnaround.
